Benefits of legs up the wall pose
With a lot of uncertainty and anxiety in the world at the moment here’s a really simple yoga pose you can do anywhere (well sort of ), you do need a wall or something to put your legs up against. Give it a try, it’s something I do when I feel anxious, I can’t sleep or I need some energy.
Benefits of this pose:
Regulates blood flow
Reduces anxiety
Reduces stress
Calms the nervous system
Can boost energy flow
Can relieve mild back ache
Can help manage menstrual cramps
Restores tired feet or legs
Improves digestion
Warning: people with neck, hip or back injury should avoid this pose. People with history of heart/strokes issues and high blood pressure should also avoid this pose
